For years, procurement software focused on the moment of publication. The work leading up to it stayed manual: managing intakes, drafting documents, keeping an eye on the schedule. Word files, Excel sheets and endless email threads.

Tenderbot was designed around that need. The first prototype focused on what didn’t exist yet: document generation. Complete tender files, generated from one central place, entirely in the organisation’s house style.

That was the beginning. In the years that followed, the platform grew with everyday practice. Intake management to capture requests properly. A tender calendar for an overview of every procurement. Capacity planning to share out the work. Contract management to close the loop. Always with the same idea: support the whole process, not just the end point.

With the arrival of AI, we saw the next step. Not AI to take over the work, but to strengthen the procurement professional. Checking documents for consistency. Reusing standard wording intelligently. Answering questions about laws and regulations. AI as an assistant, not a replacement.
