Why privacy matters
The right to privacy is a fundamental right. With control over your personal data, you keep your say and autonomy, in the digital world too. With this in mind, Tenderbot considers it very important that the services it offers are reliable and transparent. We therefore handle personal data discreetly and carefully, and we make sure that all processing of data meets the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, hereinafter GDPR).
About Tenderbot
Tenderbot consists of a public website, www.tenderbot.eu, and a non-public SaaS (Software as a Service) platform that only Tenderbot customers can use (hereinafter: Tenderbot Platform). The Tenderbot Platform offers a solution that supports procurement and contract management processes. Before they can use the Tenderbot Platform, users accept the Tenderbot Platform terms of use (hereinafter: Tenderbot Platform Terms of Use), which include terms on the processing of personal data (hereinafter: Tenderbot Platform Privacy). Which personal data we process depends on the services you use. This privacy statement applies to all data we collect through our public website.

This privacy statement applies to all personal data that Tenderbot collects and processes through its website and from readers of our newsletters (emails):
In this privacy statement, we explain how we process personal data, how you can exercise your privacy rights, and any other information about your privacy that may be relevant to you.
What data do we process?
We only collect personal data that is necessary to display our website(s) and the services offered on them. In that context, we process:
- Data you provide to us yourself: For example, when you request a demo and fill in your contact details in the contact form, or when you sign up for the newsletter or updates. We also process other personal data insofar as you provide it with your question or request.
- Personal data generated by our website or emails: When you visit our website, certain data is processed and generated, such as your IP address, information about your browser, information about your browsing behaviour, the date and time of your visit, and the way you navigate through our websites.
Basis for processing personal data
We process personal data obtained through our website only for the purposes for which it was provided, including:
- Providing our services;
- Providing information about our services;
- Contacting you to schedule a demo or answer your questions;
- Improving our website.
Website security
Our website security includes the following: (i) a valid and trusted server certificate and (ii) authentication and encryption using TLS 1.3.

Tenderbot takes appropriate measures to protect your personal data against misuse or any other form of unlawful processing.
Transfers of data outside the EEA
As a rule, Tenderbot does not transfer data or information to parties outside the European Economic Area (hereinafter: EEA). Should information be transferred to a party outside the EEA in the future, Tenderbot will ensure that appropriate and suitable safeguards are in place to protect your data. We ensure this by complying with the obligations that Chapter V of the GDPR imposes on international transfers.
Sharing data with third parties
As far as we are concerned, it goes without saying that we will not make your data available to third parties in the Netherlands or abroad. However, if there is a legitimate interest in view of our services, or if Tenderbot is obliged to do so (for example, by law or a court ruling), we will share your data with third parties.
Retention period for personal data
Tenderbot does not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the processing purposes listed under ‘Basis for processing personal data’ in this privacy statement.
Your rights regarding your personal data
You have several rights regarding the personal data we process about you. In the GDPR, these are known as the “rights of data subjects”:
- Right of access: The right to access the personal data we process about you.
- Right to data portability: You can ask Tenderbot to transfer your personal data to you.
- Right to rectification: You can ask Tenderbot to rectify your personal data, for example when the personal data Tenderbot processes about you turns out to be incorrect.
- Right to restriction of processing: You can ask Tenderbot to restrict or stop the processing of your personal data for a certain period.
- Right to erasure: You can submit a request to Tenderbot to delete your personal data.
- Right to object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by Tenderbot.
- Withdrawing consent: If you have given consent for the processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw it at any time.
